God gives burdens; Shoulders too....Jewish proverb.

We are pleasantly overwhelmed by the messages of encouragement. Thank you all. The journey will be easier together. Sachi had a dental appointment today. The radiation can wreck havoc on teeth so the doctors wanted Sachi to get his annual cleaning and general checkup done now. He goes back one more time on Thursday.
My sister Babli will come from New Delhi and stay with the boys for a month from March 15th. onwards. Jeff and Jyoti will hold the fort until then. We are slowly beginning to pack for Rochester. Some friends are cooking and freezing food for us to take to the hotel. Things are seeming manageable at this point.
Jyoti and Jeff will come to see us again on Thursday. Suraj and Ravi are home everyday. It is nice to see them this often. They have had to grow up in a hurry the past month. Hopefully they can return to worry free days again and leave us to complain about them.

Comments appear everyday, emotions flow every moment, prayers offered in every breath.....
This site is no longer a place to write your opinions and be done with it. The combined devotion of countless well wishers has elevated this site into a temple of divine worship. Anyone who logs in will feel the purity of every word of concern expressed, every drop of tear shed and every wrinkle of worry experienced.... The vibrations are so positive and the feelings so strong that the collective appeal to His grace shall rise and culminate in a crescendo of prayers that will carry you, our dearest Sanabhai, on the crest of a wave of total recovery and bring you back to normalcy in all your strength, might and spirit.....

With stalwarts in Karma Yoga and Spiritual progress like you and Badada in the family, we don't have to go too far for enrichment in either realm.
You don't need a Jesus Christ, or a Gautam Buddha or a Prophet Mohammed or a Guru Nanak to come in every century to hold us by the hand and lead us to God's heavenly Abode. Each one of them in their time and age have demonstrated by the sheer power of their life and actions that He exists in every one of us in equal measure. Maybe in some forgotten corner of our Inner being His spark of Divinity awaits our call of devotion to manifest Himself in our life. To mingle with the all-pervading spirit of Pure Consciousness we don't have to wait for and look into a distant heaven or a faraway God........Spiritual Realization is here and now, in the context of Life and Work, and in our inter-human relations.
Sanabhai, your job is just about to begin.... Attaining self-realization is not the end.... You have to awaken the rest of us and help us come aboard too. And so, you have got miles to go and worlds to enrich before you can even think of retiring to a relaxed walk towards the evening of Life....

Dear Sachi Uncle,

The blog site is great! Jyoti sent me the link so we have been reading the blogs. Mihir and I are very impressed that you and Ambi aunty are such expert bloggers. Mom and Dad convey updates to us when they see or hear
from you. We were glad to hear your surgery was successful and you are recovering well. While we do not see you often, you should know you are in our thoughts daily, and we are praying for your strong recovery. We wish
you luck in the coming months in Rochester.

Love, Suneela and Mihir

The Gift of life, the unpredictable vicissitudes of daily living, the agony of parting, the ecstasy of union……the eternal dance of creation goes on….
Seen from outer space, the human race must be looking like a swarm of ants involved in tireless hostilities towards one another, running the race of life and eliminating threats in their pursuit of selfish ends, getting tired after a while and falling down to dust, never to rise again…But seen from close proximity, every life is precious, significant and worthy of every consideration because it represents that unique point where all nature’s phenomena intersected, only once this way when he was born, and never again. The Soul that is housed in every living body is the only connection, pure and divine, between the Creator and His Creation….While the body walking the path of life goes through suffering and pain, tears and turmoil, the Spirit emerges from the fire of service and sacrifice….enriched and elevated, ready to embark on the eternal cycle…..
If there are hideous killers on one side, there is healing kindness of brotherhood on the other, balancing the coin and enabling life to go on….
Reflecting on your journey, from the early wonder years of your childhood, the exuberant and triumphant years of youth, the stormy struggles of building a family and ensuring the happiness of each member, the calming and ennobling influence of your AA sessions, to the present fight with fate……the kaleidoscope is full of captivating colors, except one that doesn’t match with the rest…..And we shall all combine our forces of spiritual strength and persuade the Elements to bring the colors of the rainbow back to your life, making it as perfect as it richly deserves to be…..
Love and pranams
